Message Driving back home from class on rte. 59, stuck in the middle of traffic. As traffic inches forward every minute or so, I was no longer able to get it into gear.
I put the flashers on and take a look around as cars are honking (2 lane road on each side with center divide and no shoulder). Couldn't see visually what was wrong so I start pushing my car (uphill) several hundred feet into the left turning lane ahead as it starts snowing. And geez our cars are pigs when it comes to weight.

Police car rolls up 30 minutes later and calls for a tow truck. Thankfully he had 2x4's, otherwise my front bumper may not have faired so well.

That same night I dropped the trans and found my stock clutch disk had a spring that popped out:

I had another clutch on hand that was ready to go, but also found that my clutch master cylinder went at the same time.
Had it overnighted from IPP and I was good to go :)

Another time I was left stranded was several years ago when my fuel pump controller blew (2nd FPC within 3 months). After filling up with gas, my Z wouldn't start. So I left it at the gas station overnight and came back the next day. Bypassed that sucker and was on my way the next morning.

Good times as always
